Family Groups are the heart of the ministry of Crossroads. These ongoing, long-term groups meet in homes for the purpose of helping adults apply God's Word to their lives and build meaningful relationships with God and with each other. This is where the care giving happens in our church. Family Groups are dynamic - shaped by the people who make them up. |
Those who care for you, encourage you, listen to and discuss with you, pray and play with you. God never intended for any of us to go it alone. We all need people like us (and not-so-like us) to grow with and share life with. For us, this is where "church" really happens. |
At Crossroads, we recognize that all of a person's spiritual and social needs can not be met in one Sunday morning service. We see life as an adventure - a journey that we undertake - not alone, but with others who, like ourselves, are growing, changing, and becoming all God wants them to be. Our small groups help make this happen. |
Discovery Groups are 6-week Bible study discussion groups designed for seekers who would like to examine the Christian faith in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. They are created as people express interest. |
Other groups are rallied around particular needs, goals, and interests. They are usually short-term instead of ongoing. |
Feel free to check out any group that interests you. You can contact us for details or you can note your interest on a Communication Card (available during the services) and someone will contact you. There is also a Family Group Bulletin board in the lobby with maps for your convenience. |
